Our favorite lady, Nancy Delaney will be at the shop from 12-5 showcasing her newest line, India Hicks.
India Hicks founded the company in early 2015 with two experienced business-minded partners, Konstantin Glasmacher, a serial entrepreneur and developer of innovative and disruptive business models, and Nicholas Keuper, former Managing Director with The Boston Consulting Group.
After years of creating collections for traditional retail, she decided to take a different, and far more personal, route in launching her own brand. “I didn’t want my product sitting cold on the shelves of a Bergdorf Goodman.”
Rather, the exclusive collections of well-crafted gifts, beauty and accessories are sold through networks of entrepreneurial women, creating a more meaningful shopping experience.
Each piece, designed by India and inspired by her British heritage, island life, and madcap daydreams, has a story. These stories (and collections) are shared by our Ambassadors, with friends old and new…
Come hang with us! If you've never been into the shop, this is the perfect reason!
Join the Pure Barre Fox Chapel studio owner, Danielle Scott Petrina & her staff as they take us through a pure barre class right on the floor of Kristi Boutique!
"We did a class at the shop a couple of months ago, and it was so much fun and did so well, that we couldn't wait to do it again," said Danielle. The feeling is mutual; "these girls are wonderful and so much fun to workout with. We get to sweat, shop, eat & drink. Please tell me why you wouldn't want to come to this!" said Kristi.
All are welcome, especially if you have never been to Pure Barre before. This is an extremely safe environment and an extremely laid back class and atmosphere. Kristi will probably be taking class in her heels. Ha!
Join us for class at 6 and shopping, snacking, and socializing after class!
All attendees will receive 20% OFF one item of their choice at KB during the event.
Stay tuned for more details as the event approaches.
Hooray for Pure Barre!
In 2012, Gina Mazzotta founded Gina Mazzotta Millinery when recognizing a vast fashion industry and a need for more stylish, contemporary hat options for today’s modern women. Gina knew she could be the one to lead the charge back to one of fashion’s most-beloved accessories: the hat.
With a background in visual and window design for brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Armani Exchange, and Saks Fifth Avenue, Gina began training with milliner Amy Hamilton. She fused this new training with the experiences she gained while living in New York City and embarked on a new dream. Gina began to create beautiful pieces that have been admired by the city of Pittsburgh for the last four years.
Gina’s work has been showcased in the city’s top publications – The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Pittsburgh Tribune Review, WHIRL Magazine and Pittsburgh Magazine. Her pieces have dazzled guests at some of the city’s premiere events such as the Steelers Style charity runway show, The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy’s Annual Spring Luncheon and the FashionAFRICANA Fashion Show.
Gina has recently turned her attention from beautiful works of art that grace runways to more ready-to-wear pieces such as fedoras, cloches, berets and wide-brimmed boho-chic floppy hats. These pieces, while more casual in nature, are still handcrafted by Gina herself in her workshop in Downtown Pittsburgh where she dares to explore innovative ways to recreate traditional forms.
Dubbed the “Mad Hatter of Pittsburgh,” Gina and her works of art have changed the landscape of fashion for the women of Pittsburgh, and she’s now set her sights on making her pieces accessible to women across the country. Fashion isn’t just for those who live on Rodeo Drive or Park Avenue; it’s for every woman, everywhere.
